These 3" O.D. replacement Touring Mufflers are designed to fit the 1995-later FLT-FLHT-FLHT(C)-FLHR Dresser Models with "Evo" & "Twin Cam 88" motors. Four styles are offered in 1-piece construction" 'SS'(Baloney Slice), 'SD'(Slash Down), 'SU'(Slash Up) and 'ST'(Straight Cut Bazooka Tube™). MHD-291 AND MHD-290 series mufflers feature an all-steel performance baffle. MHD-292 and MHD-289 series muffler feature a woven s/s wool sound blanket around the baffle that cancels the sharp crackle in the exhaust note (tone is still deep and throaty), but the baffle allows you to hear your stereo and works better with EFI TC-88 motors. Fits O.E. crossover "Y" pipe and bolts directly to O.E. saddlebag frame hangers.
