Harley-Davidson® made improvements to the entire 2014 model year Touring family of motorcycles. Perhaps the most talked about change was the addition of liquid cooling to the Twin-Cooled™ High-Output Twin Cam 103™ engine found in Harley-Davidson® Ultra Limited models. The rest of the Harley-Davidson® touring bike family also saw power improvements for their Twin Cam 103™ engines, including a new air filter box which, as Harley-Davidson® claims, increases intake airflow. While the air filter box used on 2014 and 2015 Harley-Davidson® Touring models equipped with Twin Cam 103™ engines is capable of increasing intake airflow over the older design, it is still outfitted with restrictive disposable Harley filters from the factory. Owners of 2014-2015 Road King, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Tri Glide Ultra, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Street Glide and 2015 Road Glide or FreeWheeler models can upgrade to a made in the USA reusable air filter from K&N Performance Filters.
